If you do not have time to prepare time-consuming donuts for Shrove Tuesday, or just you do not like them, here are a few ideas on what it could be replaced! The recipes are simple and quick to make (in most). Great for breakfast, snack or for afternoon tea. You can add them anything you like (fruit, salt additives, etc.). Cupcakes – to do them, you bake the muffins in the molds. After baking, cut at the top of the “lid” and pick the dough from the center of muffin with spoon. Fill the muffin with whipped cream and fruits, or your favorite jam and cover with cut part. Ready!

Pancake lollipops – another idea for a batter. Just a teaspoon, frying pan, batter and sticks lollipops. After frying all dipped in chocolate. Delicious!

Baked batter – another interesting way to treat the batter. Bake batter, smooth out any bubbles and bake in about 200 degrees. When it’s ready add whipped cream, eg .: fruits and crushed chocolate. Ready! They look and taste like buns – you can also eat with salty goodies for breakfast.

„Elephant ears” – you will need two ingredients: puff pastry and sugar. To do the “ears” You have to roll puff pastry, and then coat them in sugar. Bake in the oven the highest temperature for about 10 – 15 minutes.

Chocolate Pancakes with fruit– this recipe is very simple: the batter should be added cocoa or melted, cooled chocolate. Best served with fresh fruit and sprinkled with icing sugar.

„African pancakes”– that is, only pancakes with sugar and cinnamon (a traditional way to make them in South Africa. To do so, mix ¼ cup granulated sugar with two teaspoons of cinnamon and set aside. Make the batter and fry them. When the pancakes are still warm add cinnamon&sugar and wrap tightly. It is best to eat them, when the sugar melts.

Cake – this recipe is also very easy! Thin pancake place + cream toffee + mascarpone. One after the other. In the end sprinkle with powdered sugar. Ready!
