1¼ ounce vodka, chilled

⅛ ounce lime juice

¾ ounce Bailey’s Irish Cream

 INSTRUCTIONS

Combine vodka and lime juice in a shaker with ice and shake until cold, about 20 seconds. Strain into a shot glass. Dip a straw into the Bailey’s and put your finger over the end to create suction. Allow one drip at a time to fall into the vodka and lime juice mixture. Then. place the end of the straw into the shot glass and release your finger just enough to allow a strand of Bailey’s to come out. Alternate drips with submerged strands until you have something that resembles a brain. Done!

INGREDIENTS

2 cups orange juice

½ cup lemon juice

1 750 milliliter bottle sparkling apple cider (or 4 cups apple cider)

1 750 milliliter bottle sparkling white grape juice (or sparkling wine)

dry ice

INSTRUCTIONS

combine orange juice and lemon juice (In a punch bowl or large pitcher). Add apple cider or sparkling cider. Add sparkling white grape juice (or sparkling wine). Slowly add dry ice to punch bowl or pitcher and ensure fluid level is not all the way at the top, otherwise the dry ice may make it boil over. Reserve small chunks of dry ice for individual cups (only if serving to adults – dry ice should not be given directly to children). Serve immediately. Makes about 11 cups. This drink is very sweet (pure juice) and can easily be diluted with club soda.

INGREDIENTS

2 cups raspberries

¼ cup sugar

4 ounces vodka

2 ounces amaretto

2 ounces orange juice

6 ounces club soda

4 plastic syringes

INSTRUCTIONS

Puree the raspberries in a blender. Press the puree through a fine mesh strainer to separate the pulp from the seeds. Discard the seeds. Combine the puree with the sugar in a small saucepan over medium high heat. Stir frequently and cook until mixture darkens and thickens, about 10 minutes. Chill until ready to use. Add vodka and amaretto to a shaker with ice and shake until very cold, about 20 seconds. Stir in orange juice and club soda. Pour into iced glasses. Fill syringes with equal parts of the raspberry syrup and place in glasses before serving.

PUMPKIN PIE MARTINI

INGREDIENTS

3 tablespoons pumpkin puree

½ cup half and half

1 teaspoon brown sugar

1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

¼ teaspoon vanilla

½ ounce Kahlua

1½ ounces vodka

Glass rim:

¼ teaspoon extra fine sugar

¼ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

INSTRUCTIONS

In a blender, process pumpkin puree, half and half, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla until smooth.On a small plate, combine fine sugar and remaining pumpkin pie spice. Wet the rim of a martini glass and then roll it in the cinnamon sugar blend. Add pumpkin mixture to cocktail shaker. Also add ice, then pour in Kahlua and Vodka. Shake until chilled (about 20 seconds). Strain mixed drink into glass. Serve immediately. Have a great Halloween party!
